This website, quantumadslab.com, is a personal, non-commercial blog about Google Ads and applied AI. It is built to respect your privacy by design: it sets no cookies, runs no third-party analytics, and does not profile or track visitors across sites. This policy explains the limited data that is unavoidably processed when you visit, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR").

2.Cookies

This site does not use cookies. No technical cookies, no analytics cookies, no profiling or advertising cookies are set by quantumadslab.com. For this reason no cookie banner is shown, there is nothing to consent to. Your browser may still store standard cache files for the site's images and stylesheet, but these are not cookies and contain no personal information.

3.What data is processed, and why

Even without cookies, a few categories of data are processed simply because the site runs on a web server. These are kept to the minimum and are described honestly below.

3.1 Server log files

Like virtually every website, the hosting provider's web server automatically records technical access logs. These may include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser type (user-agent) and the referring page. This processing is necessary to operate the site securely and diagnose technical problems.

• Purpose: security, abuse prevention and technical troubleshooting.
• Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: logs are kept for a short period by the hosting provider and then automatically deleted.

3.2 Anonymous page-view counter

The site uses a simple, self-hosted counter to know which articles are read most, so the homepage can highlight popular content. When a page loads, it records a single anonymous "+1" for that article. It does not set a cookie, does not build a profile, and does not store anything that identifies you. The counter keeps only an aggregate number of views per article, with no link to individual visitors.

• Purpose: aggregate, anonymous content statistics.
• Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding which content is useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Data stored: a per-article view count only, no IP, no identifier, no profile.

3.3 Contact by email

The site has no contact form. If you choose to email the address above, the message and your email address are processed solely to read and reply to you. They are not added to any mailing list and not used for any other purpose.

• Purpose: responding to your message.
• Legal basis: your request / pre-contractual or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).
• Retention: kept only as long as needed to handle the exchange.

4.Third-party services

The site keeps third-party services to an absolute minimum. There is no analytics provider, no advertising network and no social-media tracking pixel. The only external service that may receive technical data is the web-font provider described below.

4.1 Google Fonts

To display its typography, the site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When a font is loaded this way, your browser connects to Google's servers, and as part of that connection your IP address is transmitted to Google. Google states it does not use Google Fonts requests to profile users. No cookie is set by this request. You can find more in Google's Privacy Policy.

4.2 External links

Articles may link to external sites (for example LinkedIn, YouTube, GitHub, Substack, or documentation pages). Once you follow such a link you leave quantumadslab.com, and the privacy policy of the destination site applies. This site is not responsible for the practices of those third parties.

5.How your data is shared

Your data is never sold, rented or shared for marketing. The only parties that may technically process data are the hosting provider (to run the server) and Google (for the fonts described above), each acting under their own terms. There is no transfer of personal data for advertising or profiling purposes.

6.Your rights under the GDPR

Because this site does not identify you, in practice there is very little personal data to act on. Nevertheless, where the GDPR applies you have the right to:

• Access, ask what personal data, if any, is processed about you.
• Rectification, ask to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure, ask to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction, ask to limit how your data is processed.
• Objection, object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Portability, receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, where applicable.

This site is intended for a professional, adult audience and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any data from children.
